The secretaries report was read and approved.

Treasurers report was given and explained by Dean and approved.

Old Business

John Croswell asked about burying cremations in same grave space as regular burial. Yes, we allow that in our cemetery.

New Business

Jerry gave a report on lawn care for the upcoming season. The price of $220.00 for West Side and $360.00 for East Side was moved and carried.

John Peterson needs someone to take over staking graves for the month of February. John Croswell will take over for him and Ruth will be taking the calls for Sally.

Dean asked if there were any new projects for the year. Jerry wants to get the North side of the East Cemetery cleaned up. John P and Jerry will clean out brush and do general maintenance.

Gordy mentioned preliminary plans to celebrate the centennial of Minneopa State Park in 2005 by Friends of Minneopa. Ruth said the cemetery will have a 150 year anniversary in 2005 too. Dean recommended we go ahead and work with Gordy on the project in conjunction with Friends of Minneopa and the State Park. We will provide some funding for the project. This will be good advertising for the cemetery.

Ruth mentioned how fortunate we are to have such an active board.

Motion to adjourn was made, 2nd and carried

Respectfully submitted by Sally Peterson
